Great serviced apartments with comfortable rooms and excellent staff. The restaurant is one of the best in Melbourne, if you find yourself in Melbourne you have to to try the food there, it is absolutely fantastic. Thumbs up!
I loved the building, it is beautifully furnished in one of the best locations for great shopping and great resturants, the staff were lovely providing great customer service and were very personable. My room was gorgeous and spacious. The bedding was very luxurious and so comfortable, I slept like a baby. The Bluebottle resturant was also fantastic with lovely staff. Look no further, this is the place to stay when in Melbourne!
I recently had a brilliant stay at aluxstay South Yarra with my husband and son. The room was spacious, decor stunning and service without fault. Short stays are common to us although we normally stick to the city to be in the middle of it all. aluxstay South Yarra changed my perspective. It was stunning!
Our three night stay was absolutely fabulous. The room was clean and extremely modern with infra red switching in the main room and bathrooms activating things automatically on entry. I found the size of the room more than sufficient and very well layed out with a small but practical kitchen in room. The bed was right up there in terms of comfort. Ipod docking facility was also a bonus. The staff were extremely helpful and knew the area well pointing us to various points of interest and the best way to get there.
We found the location great, being only a couple of blocks from Chapel Street and a short 10-15 minute tram ride to the city. We found getting around in Melbourne a breeze from the hotels location.
With the latest modern facilities and a convient location, we would highly recommend aluxstay Prahran to friends and we definitely be staying there again.
I used to stay at the city as there was nothing in the suburbs that matched the rooms and service of the big chains... but here it is! On arrival a booking at one of the best restaurants in Melbourne was made for me with no fuss, the rooms are great (stayed there 4 times now) and the staff are obliging and efficient. I look forward to my next visit.
We stayed at aluxstay Prahran for 5 nights at the beginning of March.
There is really nothing bad to say about the hotel at all! Great location, professional and friendly staff, awesome rooms with kitchenettes and celebrity clientele.
Close to tram, train, bus, Prahran Market, Chapel St. shopping with tons of supermarkets nearby. If you are looking to rent a car for a trip out of the city check out the AVIS location about 5 blocks away.
Internet was a little expensive at around $100 for the week.
We stayed in a serviced apartment for four weeks in Dec 2009 while waiting to relocate abroad. Apartment was small but excellent design, staff were mostly polite and friendly. Laundry facilities were great and cafe and shop in lobby were handy.
Would stay again on next visit to Aus.
Elegant and spacious rooms with great view and comfortable beds; good rates (great value for money) and good service. Quite far from cbd ( 30 min by tram).
Had an excellent stay. Was attending a work event and it saved a long drive home. Very comfortable bed and friendly staff.
We stayed 5 nights in a Manhattan apartment. Lovely spotlessly clean room, very small bathroom and tiny shower. Ate at Chill restaurant, recommend the tasting plate, it was lovely and the staff were excellent. Tram to city was convenient but takes a while. Would definitely stay again.
